Indian Springs Wastewater Systems Project

This project rerouted the Indian Springs Subdivision wastewater flow from the subdivision’s existing wastewater treatment plant to the Sanitary District of Michigan City's wastewater collection system. Also, this project addressed the following areas with no existing wastewater collection facilities

: from the southwest corner of U.S. 20 and 35 through the I-94 interchange, under the east branch of Trail Creek to the top of the hill south of the Michigan City Municipal Airport; from the north side of U.S. 20 and 35 to the beginning of the SR 212 interchange; and along the northeast side of U.S. 20/35 and SR 212 with discharge into the existing Sanitary District’s manhole.
