Millennium Plaza Fountain Demolition

The project need

Plan the removal of an inactive fountain while protecting surrounding plaza amenities and creating a coordinated restoration of the space.

H&A’s response

H&A prepared demolition and restoration plans and coordinated the utility work needed to maintain services to surrounding plaza features.

The design addressed surface grades and drainage and provided concrete and decorative-paver restoration options for the City’s consideration.

Project context and status

Design was completed in February 2026, followed by bidding support that spring. The plans gave the Parks and Recreation Department a coordinated approach to fountain removal and plaza restoration.
