Long Beach Public Safety Building

The project need

Coordinate the site around Long Beach’s public safety facility to accommodate emergency vehicles, staff, visitors, and the building’s utility needs.

H&A’s response

Working with the Town and building team, H&A developed parking and walkway grades, stormwater improvements, and utility connections. The design coordinated accessible approaches and emergency-vehicle circulation with the site’s existing conditions and onsite wastewater facilities.

The project brought civil engineering into the broader building effort, connecting the facility’s operations with the surrounding site and streets.
