The project need

Coordinate the playing field’s grades and drainage with improvements to the surrounding site and planned turf system.

H&A’s response

H&A developed field grading and subsurface drainage plans and addressed drainage in the adjacent parking area. Coordination with turf suppliers helped align the civil design with the playing surface and phased construction approach.

Project context and status

Design work in 2020 supported the planned improvements. The assignment brought civil engineering together with the requirements of a collegiate athletic facility.
