Haas & Associates, L.L.C. Engineering Consultants currently has openings in our Michigan City, Indiana office for a Professional Civil Engineer and a Civil Project Manager.  

Professional Civil Engineer

• BS/MS in Civil Engineering
• 5 or more years experience in design, permitting, construction document preparation and management of multi-disciplined staff for municipal, industrial, commercial, and retail land development projects. Position requires strong technical skills and the ability to manage multiple clients.  Strong background in water resources and wastewater systems required.
• Must be an exceptional communicator (verbally and written).
• A proven track record in project management is also necessary.
• PE registration in Indiana or the ability to attain registration within one year is required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and AutoCAD.
• Will be responsible for managing projects.

Civil Project Manager

• Formal Education in Civil Engineering, Surveying, Landscape Architecture, or closely related field.
• 3-5 years experience, Technical experience in one or more of the following areas is required: water resources; erosion and sediment control; grading and drainage; site development; municipal infrastructure, public works projects.
• Successful applicant must be able to work with multi-disciplinary teams on multiple projects. The candidate must possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and AutoCAD.
